Waking Up Feeling Heavy? My How To Be With That TIP

Dear One,

Do you know this feeling? You wake up for no reason feeling heavy or sad or depressed.

I know it well. Sometimes it would linger on into the morning with thoughts and questions like this: what am I doing here? how will this (the chaos in the world) end? how can I make any difference?

These days it’s even stronger as so many new places in Southern CA including my beloved City of Angels, experience fires. And my Australian friend shared some outrageous news from DT our president. (I refuse to watch the news)

I encourage all of us – as I remind myself day in and out –

  • to feel it all as some of us highly sensitive beings feel the pain in this world and that is a gift. Yet give yourself a time-frame (eg 5-10 min or shorter).
  • to put your hands on your heart and feel that connection
  • to put your feet on the ground and ground yourself into the earth
  • to remember your love, attention, care, compassion does make a difference.

you are a precious gift to this world!
